Filly by Boomori Finale, out of Silver CrescentWe were extremely pleased to hear from Lyn Marshall that Silver Crescent had a lovely bay/grey filly 13 days after Cressy's arrival at her new home in the Southland NZ. Lyn has named the filly Clouded Moon; this is Boomori Finale's first foal to be born out of Australia. We'll be following Clouded Moon's progress with great interest.

Silver Flair being ridden for 1st time in 8 monthsKatina was very pleased to be able to ride Silver Flair after a break of 8 months! Kat had planned to visit here monthly to continue riding Flair but weather (4 floods in 3 months) & uni obligations ruined her plans so on this visit she ignored the heavy smoke haze & saddled up Silver Flair.

Flair showed that she was happy to be ridden again. As usual she'd remembered all her previous lessons & was ready to continue her education.

October 2009:

20 mins old filly foal by Boomori Finale, out of grey pinto mare SpiritWe were fortunate to be with Macherie & Brett Wood to welcome their grey pinto mare Spirit's first foal into the world on the 11th October. Boomori Finale & Spirit combined to give them a lovely Chestnut filly with 2 hind socks & a blaze.

Spirit was nice enough to foal at 9.30am (after ensuring her mistress had a couple of sleepless nights first) so her owners were able to clearly watch their first foal being born. It was a very nice wedding anniversary present for Macherie & Brett. This filly is the beginning of their breeding program.

2 sons by Boomori Finale, out of different damsWe were very happy to hear from Rachael Keys of Elfar Endurance Arabians about the progress of their two geldings by Boomori Finale. The geldings are now 8 years old & have achieved their yellow logbooks in endurance. Elfar Sword O'Fire (bay) had a great year with their son Dylan (his main rider); they were equal first junior at Eden Creek ride and finished several rides with top 5 placings.

Elfar Viper Fire (chestnut) unfortunately had to be rested mid season due to injury but he's fully recovered & back in work; he successfully completed the Fernvale ride recently. We're looking forward to hearing about their next season. If you'd like to see more of these geldings & the rest of Elfar Endurance Arabians then visit their website www.elfararabians.com

12 hour old pure crabbet grey colt by Boomori Finale, out of MillPark Somer SpriteNovember 2009:

At 7pm on the 4th November MillPark Somer Sprite presented us with another stunning foal by Boomori Finale. This time around it's a bay/grey colt; like his full siblings he has excellent conformation & promises to mature well over 15hh.

He is a true phenotype mixture in that he inherited his dam's facial markings, has both sire & dam's hind legs white markings. To top it all off he has also inherited Finale's wither horizontal stripes as you can see in the photos.

Unfortunately we can't keep them all so this (not so) little boy is for sale. He is already showing great movement & intelligent temperament so we feel he's going to be an excellent performance horse. More details available in our For Sale page

August 2010

Rachael Keys from Elfar Endurance Arabians has kindly kept us informed of Boomori Finale's sons progress. Their son Dylan has been doing very well with both Elfar Sword O'Fire (dam: Desert Dust O'Fire) & Elfar Viper Fire (dam: Sarangani Snow Fire).

Elfar Sword O'Fire is now an 160km horse; he & Dylan Keys were equal fifth in Junior at the Queensland State Championships which means he is now qualified for the Quilty. At present Elfar Sword O'Fire is being rested & will be prepared for 2011 Quilty. In the meantime Dylan is riding Elfar Viper Fire; Rachael tells me that on the Upper Corrindi ride in early August they were equal first in Junior and had the fastest time. Congratulations Dylan on your achievements; we're looking forward to hearing some more good news.
